Tellora ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Tellora mobile application and website at tellora.work.
Information we collect
- Account and preferences — goals, target role, coach style, language settings, and onboarding choices stored on your device.
- Audio recordings — interview answers you record in the app for transcription and feedback.
- Usage data — practice counts, feedback history, and basic app settings stored locally on your device.
- API credentials — if you enter an OpenAI API key in Settings, it is stored locally on your device and used to send requests to OpenAI on your behalf.
How we use information
We use your information to provide AI transcription and interview feedback, personalize coaching, improve Tellora, and respond to support requests.
Third-party services
Tellora uses OpenAI's API to transcribe audio and generate feedback. When you submit an answer, your audio and transcript may be processed by OpenAI according to their policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage
Most data is stored locally on your device. Audio files are processed for feedback and are not retained on Tellora servers unless you explicitly choose a cloud feature in a future version.
Your choices
- Reset onboarding or delete the app to remove local data
- Disable notifications in Settings
- Remove your OpenAI API key at any time
Children
Tellora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
